From the 01/02/16 – 03/02/16 over 390 students from Year 1 to Year 9 participated in learning how to make traditional Chung cakes at Pegasus International College (PIC). The aim of this enrichment programme was to provide students with the knowledge and hands on experience on what goes into the making of a traditional TET Holiday Banh Chung Cake.
Chung cakes are a must in every Vietnamese home during the TET holidays and some have described this cake as the soul of the Vietnamese New Year! Students also learned how to work as a team in addition to learning the fine art of wrapping the sticky rice.
