Thank You Letter from Trinh Tue Nhi
My name is Trinh Tue Nhi. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible experience I’ve had at Singapore International School at Gamuda Gardens. I am honored to be a Citizenship Award recipient for the 2023-2024 school year. My time at SIS has been a cornerstone of my school life, and I wouldn’t have these cherished memories with my classmates without your support.
Throughout my last year, I actively participated in school life, joining the choir and band initially. However, my most significant contribution was creating the dance club after our successful class performance during the 2022-2023 school concert. I’m incredibly grateful to a supportive teacher who agreed to guide me as the club’s president. Leading not only the dance club but also playing a leadership role in the school band allowed me to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere at SIS. Our performances at the opening ceremony, moon festival, and other events were truly memorable moments where I connected with talented friends.
While extracurricular activities were important, academics remained a priority. Initially, my AS Level results were disappointing. However, the SIS teachers’ dedication was instrumental in helping me improve my grades significantly within a month. Balancing academics with school projects was challenging, but the supportive SIS community helped me persevere and learn valuable lessons.
The concert period stands out as a particularly demanding but rewarding time. Juggling A Level exams with concert preparations required exceptional multitasking. Beyond our class performance, I choreographed and organized three other performances, including the dance club, school band, and the grand finale for the entire school. This experience not only tested my organizational skills but also proved to be valuable preparation for my future career. Despite the hectic schedule, with the encouragement of teachers and classmates, I managed to change outfits six times within the two-hour concert flawlessly! The late nights spent studying and planning solidified the importance of teamwork and time management, skills I will carry forward.
As I embark on my future journey, I may not yet know the exact path, but I am confident that SIS has instilled a strong foundation in me. The school has taught me not only to excel academically but also to become a well-rounded individual, dedicated to myself, my family, and the broader community. My deepest gratitude goes to the incredible people at SIS, KinderWorld who guided and supported me until the very end, truly exemplifying the school’s learner goals.
I wish SIS, KinderWorld Group continued success and even greater heights in the years to come.
